Members and roles
Who would join a workspace, and what each role is meant to allow.
Inviting members#
Members and roles exist in the database and in the workspace API: an invitation carries a role, and an accepted invitation becomes a project membership.
The public website has no member list or invite form yet, so nothing here can be done from a browser.
Roles#
The plan is for a role to decide what a member can do: an owner manages the workspace, an admin manages people and settings, and a member works with what they are given.
Nothing enforces a role today.
Changing a role#
The plan is to change a member's role from a member list, taking effect on their next action.
There is no member list in the app yet.
