What a workspace is meant to hold, and how the app is planned to arrange it.
What a workspace holds#
A workspace is meant to hold the files a person can reach and the conversations they have had, so everything in the app belongs to the one they are in.
The desktop app's workspace API serves organizations, projects, and bots. The public website does not create a workspace yet, and the agent works against a folder you point it at.
Arranging your work#
The plan is a sidebar that lists what you have added, with the ones you use most kept close.
This layout is not in the app today. It is the shape the workspace is being built toward.
Personal and team#
A personal workspace is meant to be one person's own. A team workspace would put the same files and conversations in front of several people.
Team workspaces are in progress: the workspace API can invite a member to a project, but the public website has no way to create or join a workspace yet.
